About Jon Scheiber
Jon Scheiber (also known as simply Scheiber) is a web and graphic designer, as well as a freelance technical support agent. He is currently a junior in college and resides in New York, NY. He is rumored to excel at almost anything involving technology. His skills, which include programming (Java, JavsScript, and C++), graphic design, website management, and social media, have led him to much familiarity and recognition on the Internet. His “knack” for design is the primary reason why he was a part of various projects, including Showdock, System Showdown, The Sports Docket, Think Magazine, and The Stony Brook Press. He currently hosts This with Jon Scheiber, a weekly half-hour radio show on BlogTalkRadio and side project from Showdock.
Just over nine years ago, Jon knew close to nothing about computers, especially Macs, his current specialty. Now, Jon can practically be the enthusiastic spokesman of Apple, Inc. He currently uses an Apple MacBook Pro that runs on Mac OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion), along with VMware Fusion running Windows 7. Also, get this: he just about knows every little juicy fact or interesting detail from a myriad of Apple topics, from Steve Jobs to iTunes. He also played the role of the “The Mac Guy” on the most popular technology show on BlogTalkRadio, System Showdown.
Jon was an active member of his high school’s photography club, which also happens to coincide with one of his major hobbies. Jon also volunteered regularly at a branch of the Queens Library. This well-rounded individual also knows just about everything about his favorite rock band, The Beatles, in addition to being an avid watcher of The Office and Breaking Bad. You can check out Jon’s technology blog over at Scheiber.me, as well as his Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Google+, LinkedIn, About.me, Last.fm, and Instagram. You can also direct any inquiries to him by sending him some Fan Mail. Have a pleasant day!
